1 ANALYSIS & PRE-EVALUATION

A. Define the situation (as perceived by the Coachee)
B. Define the situation (as perceived by supervisors, peers, direct reports)

Collect base-line data via self-assessments or 360°-leadership assessments

2 OBJECTIVE SETTING

Define main objectives, priorities, and underlying, specific milestones

3 ORIENTATION

Identify and evaluate opportunitities, options, and obstacles that help or hinder the Coachee from getting where he is now to where he wants to go

The coach offers additional valide and reliable options that may not have occurred to the Coachee

4 MONITORING

Assess the situation in order to check on the progress made

Adjust objectives still to be reached based on results already obtained

If agreed, the Coachee’s supervisor or a mentor can be invited to periodically review the progress

5 EVALUATION & POST-EVALUATION

Review the coaching process

Highlight the Coachee’s goal-attainment progress
